Find a swimming spot along Rukkedøla River or enjoy the peace and quiet by a mountain lake. If you prefer swimming in the more well-known swimming spots in Nesbyen, you'll find some advice here.

Trytetjern
Idyllic lake on the east side of Nesbyen. Trytetjern is popularly called the natural water park because of the pleasant water temperatures and the great sandy beach. Listen in and get the water temperatures on P1 Reiseradioen! On hot days the temperature can get up to 22 degrees. Drive about 6 km from the town centre towards Hedalen. Large parking and outhouse.

Fossan
The water falls in Rukkedøla River near Hallingdal Museum are popular swimming spots. It's great fun to play in the natural water slides that are created in the river in the summer when the river is at its normal. The area has some steep cliffs, and the place is not recommended for young children. Parking at Hallingdal Museum. Cross the bridge and follow the trail that goes up along Rukkedøla River.

NorKro, Bromma
Just by NorKro Centre, there's a nice beach by the Hallingdal River. The river is quite wide here, and the water is calm. Drive Rv. 7 from Nesbyen towards Oslo for about 10 km. Parking behind NorKro.

Sutøya Feriepark
Beach by the Hallingdal River. Play ground, café and sanitary facilities on the camping site. Drive Rv. 7 from Nesbyen towards Gol, about 4 km. Parking on Sutøya Feriepark.

Hajembrua
The park by Hajembrua Bridge in Nesbyen is a great swimming spot for young children. Follow Alfarvegen to the bridge and park by the Red Cross house.
